The Survivor Informed Learning Institute is a survivor-led online learning platform that equips professionals with practical, real-world education on grooming, exploitation, and human trafficking.
Home to the "What You Might See" educational series, the Institute provides profession-specific training that helps individuals recognize situations they may encounter in the course of their work, understand what those situations could mean, and respond safely and appropriately.
Unlike traditional awareness training, these courses are grounded in lived experience, offering insights that only a survivor can provide. Whether you are a mover, healthcare professional, teacher, hotel employee, home service provider, or another frontline professional, each course is designed to increase awareness, strengthen confidence, and help create safer communities through informed observation and responsible action.

For years, Sheri Lopez has presented this survivor-led training to audiences across the country. Now, for the first time, this nationally recognized course is available online in a comprehensive, self-paced Master Class.
Unlike traditional human trafficking training that focuses primarily on exploitation, this course teaches what often happens long before exploitation begins, the grooming process.
